The Micro-Internship scheme here at the University of Plymouth launched in June 2020 and have since increased in popularity. These bite-size internships will enable students to enhance their employability and offer valuable work experience. The internship offer will be accessible directly through the Careers Service and students will be able to complete these experiences remotely and in-person.

We have provided some more information below. 

Who is it for?   

All current students and finalist year students who are looking to gain experience or to boost their CV. 

How long is a Micro-Internship?

These remote internships will be 1-2 weeks long, and will vary from each project

How can I apply?

You will be able to apply on MyCareer, you will just need to upload a short 300-word cover letter and CV for up to three Micro-Internships.

What are the dates for 21-2022? 

Winter: 26th Octocber: Applications go live and on the 4th Nov applications close.

The cycle is 22nd Nov – 3rd December

Easter: 4th March; Applicationsgo live and on the 15th March applications close

Cycle is 4th – 22nd April

Summer: 27th May: Applications go live and 8th May applications close

Cycle is 27th June – 5th August

 

If you would like to be notified personally by email when the Micro-Internships are due to go live for each cycle, then please register your interest and fill in the short survey below, by doing so, you are agreeing to -

  • Your data being collected by JISC Online Surveys, a third-party data capture tool which is not owned or managed by the University of Plymouth.
